The jubilee 15th edition of RemarLand Sokolik Cup Poland U10, one of the most prestigious children’s football tournaments in Europe, has come to an end in Stary Sącz.

For several days, the Sokolik stadium in Stary Sącz became a place of great sporting emotions and an arena of international competition for young football talents from around the world.
This year’s edition brought together as many as 36 teams from 16 countries. More than 500 young players appeared on the pitch, cheered on from the stands by parents, coaches, guardians and football fans. The tournament had a truly international character, with supporters arriving in Stary Sącz from many European countries, as well as from Brazil. Chants in different languages created the atmosphere of a true celebration of children’s football.
The winner of the 15th edition of RemarLand Sokolik Cup was SS Lazio Rome, who defeated the Austrian team FC Admira Wacker Mödling in the grand final. Third place went to the young players of Derby County FC. Among the Polish teams, WKS Śląsk Wrocław achieved the best result, finishing the tournament in 11th place.

The jubilee edition of the event was also honoured by the presence of special guests. The young players were visited by, among others, Poland national team head coach Jan Urban and Polish international Jakub Kamiński, who plays for the German club 1. FC Köln. Ski jumper Maciej Kot and Klemen Cebulj, a decorated Slovenian national volleyball player, were also present at the stadium.
Kraków Airport Hotel was among the partners supporting the event. For us, involvement in initiatives of this kind means much more than the presence of a logo at an important sporting tournament. It is a real part of our vision of responsible action and supporting the local community.
As a hotel strongly connected with the region, we want to engage in projects that bring people together, promote activity, develop young talents and build positive relationships. RemarLand Sokolik Cup is an event that perfectly reflects these values, showing that sport teaches cooperation, determination, respect and healthy competition from an early age.
— There are also many football enthusiasts among our hoteliers, which is why we are very pleased to be involved once again as a supporting partner of the event. We are happy to be part of an initiative that gives children space to develop, experience sporting emotions and make their dreams come true - emphasises Piotr Ignaszak, General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn Kraków Airport.

We congratulate all the teams, coaches, organisers and young players who created another unforgettable celebration of youth football.
The jubilee 15th edition of RemarLand Sokolik Cup confirmed that the tournament belongs among the most important children’s football events in Europe — and that it is worth supporting initiatives that begin with passion and lead to great dreams.
