How is beer made in a brewery? Which was the first beer in Poland to be sold in a can? And what’s the difference between top and bottom fermentation?
We searched for the answers to these questions together during a study visit to the Okocim Brewery, organized for our F&B team at the invitation of the Okocim Brewery Enthusiasts Association — a valued partner of our hotel.
The visit was a great opportunity to expand our knowledge of beer brewing and sensory analysis, while also strengthening team bonds and exploring the fascinating history of one of Poland’s oldest and largest breweries.
Founded by Jan Ewangelista Goetz in 1845, the Okocim Brewery has over 175 years of rich history — a story of brewing passion, technological progress, and the art of combining it with craftsmanship and tradition.
Thank you for the warm welcome and the inspiration. We now invite you to our hotel restaurant Latmosphère, where in the cozy ambiance of our lobby bar, we’ll be happy to serve you a taste of Okocim beverages.
