It is now official - a second hotel branded TRIBE will be built at Kraków Airport in Balice. We are pleased to announce that both the investor and the future operator of the new property will be Kraków Airport Hotel, our company.

According to the provisions of the letter of intent signed on March 5, whose signatories were Mieczysław Włosek, President of the Management Board of Kraków Airport Hotel Sp. z o.o., and Jacek Stasikowski, Development Director Poland representing Accor, a second hotel operating under the TRIBE brand will be developed at Kraków Airport.
The property will offer 170 rooms in the midscale segment, a modern restaurant with a cocktail bar, and an intimate conference space tailored to the needs of modern business.
Currently, at Kraków Airport – the largest regional airport in Poland, which served 13 million passengers in 2025, Kraków Airport Hotel manages the Hilton Garden Inn Kraków Airport, opened in 2014.

Like the airport itself, the hotel continues to break records. Last year, the property welcomed 78,000 guests, achieving nearly 90% occupancy, compared with the average occupancy of 77% for hotels in Kraków.
Forecasts indicate that following the expansion of the passenger terminal, which is being implemented in stages, Kraków Airport will be able to handle 16 million passengers annually by 2029, and around 20 million passengers once the full expansion is completed in 2032.
This clearly indicates strong potential for the development of hospitality services at the airport. This potential has also been confirmed by a feasibility study for the new hotel conducted by Hotel Professionals.
The analyses clearly showed that there is demand for high-quality accommodation for airport passengers, although not necessarily with a full range of additional services. Hotel Professionals also supported the investor in selecting the brand for the new hotel.
“Selecting the brand under which the new property will operate is another step in our preparations for the investment,” said Mieczysław Włosek, President of the Management Board of Kraków Airport Hotel. “Before starting any design work, we must understand the requirements we need to meet. These are defined in great detail by our partner, ranging from room sizes and restaurant scale to parking capacity and safety considerations. That is why I am pleased that today we signed the letter of intent, as the vision of the new hotel is becoming increasingly concrete.”
TRIBE brand selected for the new hotel – the second TRIBE in Kraków
According to the signed letter of intent, the new property at Kraków Airport will operate under the TRIBE brand. This will be the second TRIBE hotel in Poland and in Kraków, within the portfolio of this design-led brand that reflects a contemporary lifestyle and modern travel by combining essential services with premium touches.
The brand’s portfolio already includes more than 20 open hotels in over 10 countries, confirming its strong appeal and growth potential.
TRIBE hotels offer smart, design-driven spaces filled with style and comfort at an accessible price. By placing innovative design and functionality at the forefront, the brand redefines modern hospitality and demonstrates that premium experiences can go hand in hand with affordability.
“In the investor’s assessment, the TRIBE brand offer best responds to the identified needs of the market and airport passengers. The brand concept, combining distinctive design, functionality and a flexible service model, fits perfectly with the development direction of our company,”
says Mieczysław Włosek, President of Kraków Airport Hotel.
“Looking at the dynamic growth of Kraków Airport and the number of guests using our services at the Hilton Garden Inn, which we opened in autumn 2014, we have no doubt that this is the right moment to build a property whose character will respond to the growing needs of guests for whom Kraków has become an attractive destination for both weekend and business travel,”
he adds.
